Navy Blue Bird Embroidered Georgette Kurta Set for Men | Neelkanth by AVK
The Neelkanth Kurta is what happens when the bird takes flight after dark. A deep navy georgette kurta carrying the same threadwork birds and florals worked tone-on-tone — navy on navy, so the motifs reveal themselves in raking light rather than announcing themselves in colour. You walk into a sangeet and no one can name what you are wearing. They only notice that you are the calmest man in the room.
Tone-on-tone navy threadwork across lightweight lined georgette — birds mid-flight and florals in dimensional passes that catch light as you move and disappear when you stand still. The Neelkanth is the blue-throated roller, the bird a man hopes to see before a beginning. The set is completed by a matching navy salwar and an embroidered navy stole echoing the kurta's motifs. AVK signature cut: straight silhouette, full sleeves, light drape.

Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.
