Sagan & Tilak Ceremony Outfits for Men

Sagan dressing sits between the roka's intimacy and the wedding's grandeur. The tilak is applied, the shagun changes hands, and the photographs from this day sit in family albums for decades — so we cut sagan kurtas in silks that photograph warm: ivory, gold, soft saffron, with zardozi or resham worked at the collar.

Made to order in the Delhi atelier, fitted to you. If the sagan and wedding are weeks apart, we plan both garments together so the wardrobe builds, rather than repeats.

What should men wear for a sagan or tilak ceremony?

A silk kurta set in ivory, gold or a warm tone, with a bandi for structure. Formal, photographed, but not yet the wedding — the register matters.

Can a sagan outfit be worn again?

Yes — we design sagan pieces to layer forward into cocktail evenings and Diwali. A good bandi earns its keep across the calendar.

How early should I order?

Two to three weeks for a kurta set, four or more for embroidered pieces. During wedding season the atelier calendar fills early — send your date on WhatsApp first.
