From the atelier’s notes
How this object is chosen
Seven hours standing
A wedding is the longest a man ever stands in one pair of shoes. Ours are padded and lasted for ceremony-length wear — elegance that survives the reception line.
The floor sees them first
At the pheras you are seated, feet forward, photographed from below. The jutti is in more wedding photographs than your face. Choose it like it matters, because it does.
Break them in before the baraat
Wear your wedding shoes at home for two evenings before the event. Hand-finished leather moulds to the foot — give it the chance to do so before the dance floor.
Asked before you asked
Questions, answered
Jutti, mojari or formal shoe — which goes with a sherwani?
A sherwani or achkan wants a jutti or mojari; a bandhgala can carry either a mojari or a formal shoe. Send your outfit photo on WhatsApp and we will call it for you.
Will embroidered juttis survive a full wedding day?
Ours are built for it — padded footbeds and finished seams for ceremony-length wear. We still recommend breaking them in at home for two evenings first.
Can the jutti match my safa or sherwani embroidery?
Yes — tonal matching between jutti, safa and outfit is exactly the kind of finishing the atelier exists for. Bring or send the outfit; we coordinate the rest.
Do you have wedding shoes for the baraat and family too?
Yes — coordinated footwear for the groom’s side keeps the group photographs coherent, with the groom’s pair distinct.
Send us the outfit. We finish it.
Share a photo of your sherwani or kurta on WhatsApp — we reply within the hour and match every finishing object to it, honestly and exactly.
