What should men wear for Diwali pooja?
An ivory, cream or gold silk kurta set is the traditional answer — hand embroidery at the collar and placket, churidar or straight pants, and a dupatta if your family keeps the formality. It should photograph well by diya light.
What do men wear to a Diwali card party?
Sharper than the pooja: a bandhgala, or a bandi layered over a plain silk kurta, in deep maroon, bottle green or midnight blue. It reads festive without repeating the pooja look.
How early should I order a Diwali outfit?
Four to six weeks ahead for hand-embroidered, made-to-measure pieces — the atelier calendar fills fastest before Diwali. Ready-line pieces can be fitted and altered within days.
