The Aftaab Kurta in navy blue is the deeper, evening-ready counterpart to the olive Aftaab - a custom cotton-silk and georgette kurta featuring intricate thread machine embroidery across the front. Where olive reads earthy and grounded, navy reads sharp and statement-ready, suited for evening events where the colour needs to hold its own under indoor lighting.
Thread machine embroidery is layered across the navy base in dense, considered patterns - focused detailing at the front placket, yoke, and sleeves where ambient evening light catches the threadwork dimensionally. Navy with intricate threadwork is one of the most photographed evening menswear combinations in modern Indian fashion. Cotton-silk and georgette gives the kurta soft drape with structure. AVK signature menswear cut: structured shoulder, fitted close, modern hem.

Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
