The Aftaab Kurta in olive green is a cotton-silk and georgette kurta with detailed floral thread embroidery, skillfully crafted in the AVK atelier for weddings and festive occasions. Olive green is the most uncommon, most considered groom-and-family colour in current Indian menswear - earthy, contemporary, and photographable in a way no pastel can match. Choose this if you want to stand apart with deliberate restraint.
Floral thread embroidery is layered across the olive base in dimensional passes - botanical motifs in soft tonal threads concentrated at the front, yoke, and cuffs. The earthy palette and floral language create a piece that reads grounded, sophisticated, and unmistakably contemporary. Cotton-silk and georgette delivers a soft drape with structure. Modern menswear cut: clean shoulder, fitted close, contemporary hem.

Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
