Grey Phulkari Embroidered Cotton Silk Kurta Set for Men | Ashar (Grey) by AVK
The Ashar Kurta in grey is the cooler, more architectural counterpart to the pink Ashar - a custom cotton-silk kurta in soft grey adorned with traditional Phulkari motifs. Where pink reads romantic and warm, grey reads urban and considered, making this the natural choice for the man who wants Phulkari heritage in a more contemporary palette.
Phulkari motifs are layered across the grey cotton-silk base in considered passes - dimensional Punjabi heritage embroidery that adds craft personality without overwhelming the cool palette. Phulkari literally means "flower work" - colourful florals stitched in textured passes that catch light dimensionally. The cotton-silk provides breathability for outdoor events with structure at the shoulder. AVK signature menswear cut: structured shoulder, fitted close, modern hem.

Yes. We deliver worldwide, with most of our wedding pieces travelling to the US, UK, Canada, UAE, Australia and Singapore. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and every international order is tracked door to door.

Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
