The Dusty Rose Bandhgala is a bespoke Lucknowi bandhgala (Prince Coat) cut for the modern groom and groomsmen in a subtle dusty rose hue. The bandhgala silhouette - structured collar, button-front, fitted close through the torso - is the most formal piece in the AVK menswear range, designed to read sharp under both daylight ceremonies and evening receptions.
Lucknowi craft language defines the embellishment: subtle thread embroidery worked precisely along the placket, collar, and cuffs by hand in patterns inherited from the Awadh courts. Against the dusty rose ground, the threadwork reads tonal and considered, never loud. Pairs cleanly with churidaars, slim trousers, or fitted dhoti pants for different ceremonial moods. Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
