The Powder Blue Classic Kurta is the AVK Essentials range piece in soft powder blue imported cotton - a fresh, cool-toned pastel designed for outdoor daytime occasions where you want the calmness of powder blue without any embroidery or print competing for attention. Powder blue is one of the most photogenic daytime kurta colours, reading fresh, calm, and unmistakably modern.
Premium imported cotton gives the kurta a crisp hand-feel that holds clean structure at the shoulder while staying breathable for outdoor venues - ideal for long ceremonies and outdoor brunches. Mother of pearl buttons add the only embellishment. Paired with an off-white churidaar that lifts the powder blue colour story through gentle contrast. Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
