The Stone Blue Classic Kurta is the AVK Essentials range piece in handwoven cotton silk - a sophisticated stone blue shade that reads cooler than powder blue and warmer than steel grey, occupying a unique slot in the blue family for the man who wants nuanced, considered colour. Stone blue photographs particularly well in indoor evening lighting and against natural daylight backgrounds.
The kurta is crafted from handwoven cotton silk - the same premium fabric used across the AVK Essentials range, here dyed in a sophisticated stone blue. Mother of pearl buttons add the single refined finishing detail to the otherwise unembellished silhouette. The accompanying off-white churidaar provides tonal contrast that lifts the stone blue colour story in portrait photography. AVK signature menswear cut: structured shoulder, fitted close, modern hem.

Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
