The Navy Blue Plain Kurta is the AVK Essentials range piece in classic plain navy blue cotton-silk - a refined, timeless silhouette designed for the modern man who wants navy in a softer, more daytime-friendly weight than the Bamberg linen-silk Classic Navy. Navy with mother of pearl buttons is one of the most versatile combinations in menswear: sharp enough for evening, soft enough for daytime.
Plain navy cotton-silk gives the kurta a hand-feel that drapes softly with structure at the shoulder. Mother of pearl buttons and subtle pin-tuck detailing at the placket add the only embellishments - intentionally restrained finishing touches that read luxurious without being loud. AVK signature menswear cut: structured shoulder, fitted close through the body, modern hem proportion.

Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
