The Classic Off-White Kurta is the AVK Essentials range piece in handwoven cotton silk - a softer, warmer interpretation of ivory that reads more romantic and less ceremonially formal than pure white. Off-white is the most versatile festive colour in the Indian menswear wardrobe: it photographs beautifully across daylight and warm evening lighting, and pairs cleanly with every churidaar, mojri, and accessory you might layer it with.
The kurta is crafted from handwoven cotton silk - a fabric that drapes softer than pure cotton and holds structure better than pure silk, giving the silhouette a hand-feel that's distinctly luxurious in close contact. Mother of pearl buttons add the single refined detail. The silhouette is cleanly tailored with modern proportions throughout. Paired with an off-white churidaar for tonal cohesion.

Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
