The Ice Grey Embroidered Bandi (Edition II) is a traditional Lucknowi Nehru Jacket in a cool ice grey hue with delicate sequence embroidery - the second piece in the AVK ice grey Nehru Jacket family, distinguished by a slightly fuller sequence pattern across the placket and collar that catches Mehndi ceremony lighting beautifully. Choose this edition when you want the embroidery story to read denser and more dimensional than the original Ice Grey Bandi.
Delicate sequence embroidery runs across the placket, collar, and front in considered, dense passes - small sequins catching ambient light against the cool ice grey ground, creating a play of subtle sparkle that reads particularly well in close-up Mehndi photography. The Lucknowi craft heritage shows in the precision and density of the work. Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
