The Faizal Kurta is a custom cotton-silk kurta in a sophisticated steel blue shade with a textural jacquard patch detail on the front - the most architectural, fabric-led piece in this category of AVK kurtas. Where most kurtas rely on embroidery or print to create the front detail, Faizal uses a contrasting jacquard fabric patch as its central design element, giving the silhouette a distinctly contemporary, fashion-forward identity.
The jacquard patch creates a self-pattern within the front placket area, layered over the steel blue cotton-silk base - the textural shift catches light dimensionally and reads as deliberate fashion design rather than decorative trim. The steel blue colour reads cool and modern across both daytime and evening lighting. Cotton-silk provides breathability for outdoor events. Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
