Mustard Aari Dabka Hand Embroidered Linen Silk Kurta Set for Men | Ghazi by AVK
The Ghazi Kurta in mustard is a custom Bamberg linen-silk kurta featuring intricate hand-embroidered aari and dabka detailing on the neckline - a warm, photogenic autumn-festive piece that combines two heritage craft techniques in a single focal point at the neck. Mustard is the connoisseur's festive colour: warm, earthy, and uncommon in current Indian menswear.
Hand aari (hooked-needle embroidery from Lucknow and Kashmir) and dabka (metallic coiled thread work) are layered along the neckline in dense, considered patterns - the metallic dabka catching warm autumn light dimensionally against the mustard ground. Bamberg linen-silk gives breathability for outdoor daytime ceremonies with a soft natural drape. The matching mustard churidaar completes a deliberately tonal, earth-grounded look. Modern menswear cut: clean shoulder, fitted close, contemporary hem.

Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
