The Gulberg Kurta Set is a dusty rose chanderi silk kurta with delicate Lucknowi chikankari embroidery — the gentlest, most timeless craft language in Indian menswear, finished with mother-of-pearl buttons that catch ambient light without competing with the embroidery. For the man who wants softness and craftsmanship working in equal measure.
The Lucknowi chikankari runs along the neckline, shoulders, and back — a heritage embroidery technique that traces its lineage to the Awadh courts. Each piece is hand-finished, which is why the work feels textural and dimensional in person rather than flat. The chanderi silk base is breathable, falls beautifully, and photographs as a soft, romantic dusty rose under both daylight and warm evening light. Tailored sharp through the shoulder with a relaxed, modern hem length.

Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
