The Jhelum Kurta Set in powder blue is a bespoke linen-silk kurta with intricate hand embroidery at the neckline — a cool-toned pastel that reads fresh, calm, and unmistakably contemporary. Powder blue is the most photographed daytime-event groom-and-family colour in current Indian menswear, particularly for sagan and Mehendi ceremonies under natural light.
Hand embroidery is layered at the neckline in precise, considered passes — a focused detail that defines the silhouette without competing with the colour story. The linen-silk blend gives breathability for long daytime ceremonies while still holding structure cleanly at the shoulder. Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
