The Khalid Kurta Set is a navy blue bespoke kurta cut in a modern asymmetrical silhouette — a sharp, contemporary departure from the ivory-and-pastel kurta playbook, designed for the man who wants a piece that reads architectural and considered. Navy is the most photographed colour for evening and cocktail wear in modern Indian menswear; this is AVK's interpretation.
The bespoke navy suiting fabric gives the kurta its weight, structure, and a quiet luminosity that synthetic blends don't deliver. Custom metal buttons run down the asymmetrical placket — a small, considered detail that elevates the silhouette without veering into ornamentation. Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
