Steel Grey Mirror Work Linen Silk Kurta Set for Men | Okara by AVK
The Okara Kurta Set is a steel grey Bamberg linen-silk kurta finished with authentic hand-mirror work and machine embroidery at the neckline — a cool, architectural pastel for the man who wants pastel without going floral or romantic. Steel grey is one of the most contemporary, modern groom colours in current Indian menswear photography.
The mirror work is authentic — small reflective discs hand-stitched into the fabric rather than printed or appliquéd, giving the silhouette a play of light that no other embellishment matches. Machine embroidery is layered alongside it for definition and density. Bamberg linen-silk is breathable for outdoor daytime ceremonies but holds structure at the shoulder for clean portrait photography. Modern menswear cut: clean shoulder, fitted close, contemporary hem.

Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
