The Rashid Kurta in ivory is the most timeless, photogenic colour story in the AVK kurta range — a Bamberg cotton-silk and georgette kurta in classic ivory with mirror work and machine embroidery across the front and sleeves. Ivory remains the single most photographed wedding-and-festive colour because it lets the embroidery, the embellishment, and the man wearing it be the lead story.
Mirror work and machine embroidery are layered across the ivory base in dense, considered patterns — focused at the front placket and sleeves where close-up portrait photography captures every detail. Bamberg cotton-silk and georgette delivers a hand-feel that's breathable for long ceremonies but holds clean structure at the shoulder. The set comes with a matching ivory churidaar that completes the tonal styling. AVK's signature menswear cut: structured shoulder, fitted close, modern hem proportion.

Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
