The Rashid Kurta in navy is a cotton-silk and viscose-georgette kurta featuring machine mirror work - designed in the AVK atelier for weddings, soirees, and festive evening events. Navy with mirror work is one of the most striking evening combinations in modern Indian menswear - the cool dark base lets the mirrors catch ambient light dramatically, photographing exceptionally well at cocktails and receptions.
Machine mirror work is layered across the navy base in dense patterns - small reflective discs hand-stitched into the fabric, creating dimensional sparkle against the deep ground colour. Cotton-silk blended with viscose-georgette gives a softer drape than pure silk while holding clean structure at the shoulder. The matching navy churidaar completes the tonal styling. AVK signature menswear cut: structured shoulder, fitted close, modern hem.

Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
