The Shahrah Kurta Set is a classic ice grey kurta in Bamberg cotton silk and georgette, finished with intricate Lucknowi-inspired embroidery around the neckline and matching pearl buttons. A refined festive piece designed for Diwali, Karwa Chauth, and the quieter ceremonial moments where the focus is conversation, not spectacle.
The neckline embroidery is precise, traditional, and intentionally minimal — a single concentrated detail that lets the cool ice grey base do the rest of the talking. Bamberg cotton silk blended with georgette gives the kurta breathability for long evenings while still holding structure at the shoulder. Pearl buttons run down the placket — a small, considered finishing touch that separates atelier work from off-the-rack. AVK's signature menswear cut: structured shoulder, fitted close, modern hem length.

Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
