The Sufian Kurta is a navy blue cotton-silk and georgette kurta featuring intricate floral thread embroidery — designed in the AVK atelier for weddings, soirées, and festive occasions where you want the depth of navy paired with the romance of floral craft. Navy is the most photogenic groom-and-family colour for evening receptions and cocktail events.
Floral thread embroidery is layered across the navy base in considered, dimensional passes — focused at the front, yoke, and cuffs in patterns that tell a story up close and hold visual weight from across the room. Cotton-silk blended with georgette gives a soft drape with structure at the shoulder. Modern menswear cut: clean shoulder, fitted close, contemporary hem proportion.
The complete set includes: Kurta and matching navy churidaar.

Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
