The Umrah Sherwani Set is a hand and machine embroidered ivory sherwani — a wedding-day silhouette layering the precision of machine embroidery with the depth of hand work, designed for the groom who wants visible craftsmanship across every panel. Ivory remains the most photographed wedding colour for a reason: it lets the embroidery be the lead story.
Hand and machine embroidery are layered across the ivory base in complementary passes — machine work delivers density and consistency through the body of the sherwani, while hand embroidery is reserved for the placket, yoke, and cuffs where close-up photography catches every stitch. Tailored to AVK's modern groom proportion: clean shoulder line, fitted close through the chest, modern hem length.
The complete set includes: Sherwani, ivory cotton silk kurta, and ivory churidaar.

Our most detailed pieces take 21–24 business days from order to delivery, worldwide — tailoring, hand-finishing and quality checks included — and many pieces are ready sooner. Dates 15–30 days out sit within our usual atelier window; if your event is under two weeks away, WhatsApp us at +91 9315506791 before ordering and we will confirm honestly what is possible.
Yes — every AVK garment is hand-embroidered in our Delhi atelier. Karigars work zardozi, nakshi, kardana, mothi (pearl) and resham on adda frames, mapped from a hand-drawn khaka. A single sherwani can carry 300–400 hours of handwork; nothing is machine-run.

We alter it, free. Request a complimentary alteration within 15 days of delivery — length, chest and waist adjustments are part of the service. A made-to-order garment is not finished until it fits.

AVK dresses the full wedding calendar — kurta and bandi sets for mehendi, haldi and sangeet; sherwanis for the wedding itself; bandhgalas and tuxedos for cocktail and reception evenings. Message us the ceremony, venue and time of day and we will recommend pieces from the current collection.
